Tuukia Art/Fabrics is run by the Finnish painter and artist Päivi Vähälä, who runs her own studio and flagship boutique in Vienna, Austria. Vähälä is best known for her diverse and distinctive style. The new collection exudes a happy atmosphere, and was inspired by botanical books and hieroglyphs – or whatever the painting brush created at the time: the feel of the sea, shellfish and fragile floral forms, spots and stains, and traces of a party on the table cloth. This was the premiere exhibition of Tuukia Art/Fabrics in Finland. Read more about the designs from www.tuukia.com.
