A small preview of coming attractions: the image that heads this post is a detail from a floral pattern, created for our forthcoming Spring / Summer 2016 collection, by Finnish artist and illustrator Jenni Ritamäki, in collaboration with LUMI.

As alluded to in the pattern, the SS16 collection is inspired by our Finnish approach to flora, or “kasvisto,” specifically a Northern heritage of collecting wildflowers and plants in a systematic, even scientific way.

You will see this systematic, floral approach throughout the SS 16 collection, from its pallet of pastel colors to its geometric, occasionally to the point of surrealistic, dimensionality. The center-piece of the collection, this unique floral pattern printed on leather, will be found on select handbags and shoes. We can’t wait to share the entire collection!
